Who we are
Freshroom OH Consulting is an independent occupational hygiene and environmental consulting practice providing practical, science-based solutions to workplace and environmental health risks.
With over five years’ experience as an Occupational Hygienist, we support clients across construction, industry, and the built environment by delivering clear, defensible advice grounded in regulatory compliance and technical expertise.
Based locally, we bring a strong understanding of regional conditions, project requirements, and regulatory expectations—allowing us to respond efficiently and provide tailored solutions that reflect the realities of each site.
Our foundation is built on formal training in Environmental Science, combined with hands-on experience across both field and laboratory environments. This includes direct laboratory work analysing asbestos air samples and fibre counting, providing a deep understanding of analytical limitations, quality control, and interpretation of results—insight that directly strengthens our field monitoring and reporting.
Freshroom OH Consulting offers broad occupational hygiene capability, including:
Asbestos air monitoring, clearance inspections, and fibre counting interpretation
Respirable dust and respirable crystalline silica (RCS) exposure monitoring
Indoor and outdoor air quality investigations
Mould assessment, species awareness, and moisture-related risk identification
Practical mitigation strategies for biological and environmental hazards
Exposure assessment and reporting for WHS and regulatory purposes
Forensic and investigative analysis to support compliance, dispute resolution, and incident review
We maintain a strong working knowledge of mould species, moisture dynamics, and building-related factors that contribute to fungal growth—allowing us to identify underlying issues and provide informed, practical recommendations for mitigation and management.
Freshroom OH Consulting holds a Licensed Asbestos Assessor (LAA) accreditation (LAA002129), and operates in accordance with WHS legislation, relevant Codes of Practice, and recognised industry standards.
Our approach is independent, proportionate, and evidence-driven—focused on protecting people, workplaces, and environments through sound science, clear communication, and professional integrity.
